Location: Hakuba 47 Ski Resort in Nagano! This is a really nice park with 23 runs that extend over three peaks.

It’s finally here! Join Toyama AJET at the scenic and expansive Hakuba-Goryu resort! We will spend two days and one night skiing and boarding in Nagano-ken!

How many of you: The initial limit is 26 people. However, if the demand exists, I will be expanding the trip up to 45.

How much: A final price will be announced once I have solid numbers for the bus, but here is a fairly reasonable estimate: 19,000 yen for Toyama AJET members and 20,000 for non-AJET members. Remember that this price includes the lodge, the transportation and a lift ticket for both days. It does not include ski or board rental or lessons; however, the guys at the lodge we will be staying at will be helping coordinate rentals (last year they had a bunch of gear setup before we were even there) so you have a minimum amount of time waiting for gear and a maximum amount of time on the trails.

“But I don’t have any gear”: Rentals at Hakuba were very reasonably priced last year (less than 3000 yen for the two days, I’ll get exact prices later), and switching from board to skis was no problem. They also rented out coats, gloves and goggles for those who aren’t equipped at all.
